I’m a learning game developer, uploading my progress game by game
I’m currently using the Unity game engine for making my projects, but in the past i have used Raylib, Pico8, GDevelop, Unreal Engine and tried loads more,
I’m most comfortable with C# and Lua, but Ive tried many other programming languages such as Go and Python.
I use Aseprite and PicoCAD 2 for making my assets
My passion for game development originally came from me wanting to make my drawings into games, so I started getting interested in the idea of making games, and "Dani" (a well known game dev YouTuber) had just started getting really popular, watching his videos was inspiring as well as entertaining, the combination of this and a friend introducing me to the more technical side of computers lead to me doing computer science and I started trying to make games in my free time.
My first finished game being "Digital Deep" made in GDevelop a no-code engine, the game is still on itch, its pretty bad, you can cheat the game quite easily, but making it helped me start learning programming structure and logic.
Soon after computer science i practised learning coding myself at home, and decided on learning Lua, as it was similar to Python, the same language I used in computer science.
since then Ive improved my programming skills a lot, and have grown to really enjoy coding, it's my favourite part of making a game now.
